Sundays are a time for family, friends and a hearty meal. Our traditional Sunday lunch at the Broughton goes beyond a simple family Sunday roast and takes those staple dishes to their best possible versions.

Join us for our Sunday roast lunch, complete with elevated sides and delectable desserts. The perfect addition to a cosy weekend with family or friends for anyone in Crewe or the surrounding areas. 

Savoury starters

The best Sunday lunch begins with incredible starters to whet the appetite. Try our celeriac and apple soup with virgin olive oil. Or taste our chicken liver parfait with grape chutney and toasted brioche. Our coronation fishcakes in a curry emulsion with golden raisins and toasted almonds are delicious. And our smoked mackerel pate with lemon mascarpone and toasted focaccia is a well-balanced plate to kick off any meal.

Magnificent mains

No Sunday lunch is complete without the main event – thick, juicy slices of roast turkey or beef, mouthwatering marmalade and dijon ham or, if you’re seeking a veggie option, our panko mushroom kiev. Each one presented alongside an array of potatoes, root vegetables, gravy and a Yorkshire pudding. 

And don’t forget to pair them with incredible sides like honey roast pigs in blankets, crispy roast potatoes, creamy mash, smoked applewood cauliflower cheese and confit carrots, parsnips and tenderstem broccoli.

Our decadent sweet treats are the ultimate way to finish your Sunday lunch. Our hot bramley apple crumble and sticky toffee puddings are perfect for ending a warm hearty meal. Or, if you want something a little lighter, grab two scoops of sweet ice cream or sorbet (you pick the flavour).

Children’s menu

Have kids you want to treat to a scrumptious Sunday lunch? We also have two children’s options. Your child can choose between the beef and ham, both accompanied by our creamy mash, seasonal veggies and, of course, Yorkshire puddings with gravy. That way everyone in the family gets to enjoy.
