NEW & EXCITING DISHES AT THE BROUGHTON

Discover More

It has been a busy few months at Parogon with new menus launching at the Swan with Two Necks, Orange Tree, Blockhouse and Willow, and now the team here at the Broughton are ready to announce they have a new menu launching on Wednesday 7th June!

We caught up with Jamie Smith, Parogon Groups Executive chef.

“I’m really excited to launch this new menu. When we opened the Broughton we wanted to create a menu that had an Asian influence to it but still had dishes that guests would be familiar with. This new menu still very much ticks all those boxes.

With its exciting flavours, vibrant colours, and mouth-watering combinations, the new Broughton menu is going to very popular.

Whether it’s a weekend breakfast, light lunch with friends or dinner and cocktails, they have taken everything that already made the menu great and given it a boost with some great new dishes.

We asked Jamie for some of his recommendations.

“Well I think we have some really interesting dishes on the menu but my starter pick would be the Lobster Scotch Egg. I don’t think many people will have come across this before and the tahini dressed salad and soy & ginger sauce make this a really great dish that must be tried.

“For the main course we have lots of great new dishes such as our aromatic duck breast or crispy panko chicken but I think for a bit of opulence I am going to pick the 10oz golden rib cap burger. The burger is handmade using marbled rib eye steak and is topped with Thai basil chimichurri, beef tomato, rocket and a gorgeous miso & brown butter hollandaise. And if that wasn’t enough it all comes in a golden bun!”

The new menu is bursting with flavour and the team can’t wait for guests to try the new dishes. So, make sure you visit the Broughton and treat yourself to some delicious food in great surroundings. We don’t think you will be disappointed!
